Universities and research laboratories play a key role in the development of biomaterials, tissue engineering, and medical additive manufacturing. However, advancing a scientific project also requires suitable materials, reliable technical resources, and opportunities for experimentation.

To address these needs, Lattice Services launched the Lattice Academic Program, a program designed to support academic teams in their research projects and facilitate the exploration of new applications for additive manufacturing.

What are the benefits of the program?

The Lattice Academic Program offers four complementary ways to support researchers at different stages of their work.

#1. Preferential pricing on materials

Eligible universities and research laboratories benefit from a standard academic discount of 5% on the Lattice Services filament range. Special pricing arrangements may also be considered for projects requiring large volumes or regular supplies.

#2. Early access to new materials

Some academic partners may gain access to filament formulations under development before they are commercially available. This provides an opportunity to explore new possibilities and contribute to material improvements through their feedback and testing experience.

#3. Technical support and print testing

Program members can benefit from the expertise of Lattice Services’ materials engineers, preferential rates on print testing services, and sampling opportunities to assess the feasibility of their projects.

#4. An opportunity to showcase your research

Through the Lattice Research Spotlight, selected projects may be featured in a dedicated case study published on the Lattice Services website. Selected teams also benefit from an exclusive 15% discount on future purchases for 12 months, subject to the program’s terms and conditions.

How can you apply?

The process is simple: submit your research project, outline your material requirements and experimental objectives, and discuss your needs with our team. Our engineers will assess the technical feasibility of your request to identify solutions suited to your project.

Lattice Services is committed to preserving the scientific independence of the teams it supports: the support provided does not dictate their methodologies, results, or conclusions.
