Development of an innovative partial foot prosthesis with our TPE
To develop Podeox®, the innovative partial foot prosthesis, the company Podo-Vision partnered with Lattice Services.
The challenge: to find a medical-grade filament compatible with the skin, flexible and reworkable, suitable for additive manufacturing.
Solutions proposed by Lattice Services:
- Material sourcing: selection of a biocompatible, thermoformable TPE safe for skin contact
- Testing and support: assistance in optimizing printing parameters and post-processing
- Customization: adaptation for patient comfort, size, and finishing
- Additive manufacturing: production of semi-standard and custom shells
Result: a lightweight, adjustable, clinically adapted prosthesis, designed for orthotics professionals and their patients.
