Customized support for your healthcare projects

Are you an innovative healthcare company? Would you like to integrate 3D printing into your product development?

Whether you’re at the initial design stage, or looking for support in a specific phase, we’re your development partner!

At Lattice Services, we have access to computer-aided design tools (such as Solidworks or Abaqus) as well as mechanical engineers capable of creating or projecting your 3D file in order to optimize it. With our own extrusion and 3D printing facilities, as well as a 3D production tool in an ISO7 clean room for implantable DMs, we can produce your first prototypes and pre-series.

From Initial Consultation to 3D Printing and Prototype Analysis

Through a range of services, we work with you to co-develop your medical devices and support you right through to manufacturing.

Analysis
  • Initial consultation

We start every project with a thorough consultation to understand your needs and objectives. The confidentiality of your information is paramount, which is why we are committed to signing a confidentiality agreement to protect your sensitive data.

  • Feasibility study

We carry out a feasibility study to assess the technical viability of your project. We take into account the regulatory requirements and quality standards surrounding your projects. Following this, we can provide you with a quotation.

  • Choice of materials

Depending on your project, we can advise you on the most suitable materials. We can also use our own certified medical-grade absorbable and implantable filaments, as well as our certified skin contact filaments. Depending on your needs, we can also extrude your own materials.

  • Design development and first prototypes

Our team of experts in 3D modeling, engineering and 3D printing work closely with you to develop innovative, functional designs. High-quality prototypes are then supplied to you for preliminary testing.

  • Parts printing

We use the latest 3D printing technologies (FDM, SLA or SLS) to produce your parts in the desired material. We can print on a prototype scale in the laboratory, right up to pre-series or series production, to meet important regulatory requirements such as biocompatibility, pre-clinical GLP or sterilization validation.

  • Analyze the properties of your parts

Thanks to our laboratories, we can carry out various tests (DSC, GPC, Bio, etc.) to assess the mechanical, thermal and biological aspects of your 3D parts.

    • Mechanical: strength and flexibility tests, standard and accelerated ageing studies, etc.
    • Thermal: behavior under different environmental conditions in a drying oven
    • Biological: high-throughput screening platform for the behavior of your implant or biomaterial (resorption tests to ISO 13781:2017 standard, cellular impact of biomaterial on differentiation, cell death, etc.)
    • Physico-chemical: DSC (Differential Scanning Calorimetry) to determine the thermal properties of your biomaterial, GPC (Gas Permeation Chromatography) to determine the molecular properties of your biomaterial.
