PDO or Polydioxanone is a white semi-crystalline thermoplastic. It degrades quickly once implanted in 4 to 6 months. Although very crystalline, the polymer has a lower glass transition temperature than room temperature, which guarantees a certain flexibility.. Storage
Store the materials in the same conditions as when you received them, i.e. vacuum-packed with a desiccant bag. Store them away from light and at a low temperature (between -4° and -20°C). If not used for a prolonged period (several weeks), return the materials to these conditions to prevent premature deterioration.
