Medical PLA
Medical-grade PLA filament is a bio-based, rigid and dimensionally stable thermoplastic, formulated from high-quality polylactic acid granules, certified ISO 10993-5 for skin contact.
It is distinguished by its off-white colour, which is particularly suitable for anatomical models, surgical planning and prototyping of external medical devices, not for implantable use.

Its printing properties
To ensure reliable and accurate printing, it is recommended that you adhere to the following settings:
- Extrusion temperature: 220–240 °C
- Bed temperature: 55–65 °C
- Print speed: 120–140 mm/s
Medical PLA prints easily without an enclosed chamber, with very little shrinkage, making it an ideal material for rapid prototyping.
