The “Nerve Guide Fabrication Using Biodegradable Materials” project involves manufacturing the external component of a multi-material nerve guide. The materials initially proposed encountered difficulties at both the regulatory and technical levels. The objective was to create a reliable, safe outer shell that complies with regulatory requirements, while allowing for rapid design adjustments.

Thanks to our PDO filament, Pioneer Neurotech has been able to implement consistent manufacturing processes using proven biodegradable and biocompatible materials. Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF) printing has enabled rapid integration of technical design changes.
